Amazon Singapore launches Prime for just S$2.99 per month
Yesterday, Amazon.com gave us a shock when they ended free delivery option to Singapore. Today, they revealed the reason for doing so.
Say hello to Amazon Prime Singapore, the new service that lets customers enjoy free delivery service on over 5 million eligible items on the Prime Now app.
Search for items from Amazon USA
Previously, the selection on Prime Now is only limited to the products available from their inventory locally but now when you open the app and login with your Prime membership, you can browse items from Amazon USA by switching to ‘International‘ from the bottom of the app.
What’s more, customers enjoy free 2-hour delivery on orders over S$40 when shopping the local selection, and free delivery on international orders over S$60 from Amazon US.
Previously, you will have to chalk up your purchases to US$125 to enjoy free shipping on Amazon.com.
In addition to the free shipping options, Amazon Prime members can also enjoy unlimited streaming from Prime Video and catch titles such as Emmy-winning The Man in the High Castle, or the exciting and wildly popular The Grand Tour.
Gaming enthusiasts will also enjoy ad-free viewing and a free monthly Twitch channel subscription every 30 days to support your favourite streamer.
Totally worth it if…
The Price? A mere S$2.99 subscription per month! Totally worth it if you frequently shop on Amazon.com. Strangely in the states, a Prime membership there will cost quite a bit more at US$10.99 per month or US$99 per year.
You can sign up for the Prime membership (with 30-day free trial) from Amazon.com.sg starting from today to enjoy the benefits.
